First, you need to add your Wasabi account to the NAKIVO Inventory.

Next, add your Wasabi credentials (Access Key Id and Secret Access Key) that you should save when you created your Account and Bucket.

Note: You need to add the same region that you added in your Wasabi Bucket.

Then your Wasabi was added to NAKIVO Backup and Replication v10 and can now be used to create a Backup Repository.

Next, add a name for your Backup Repository and when selecting Wasabi (created in the previous step) you should get all information from your Wasabi account bucket.

Click Next, and configure the Backup Repository and click Finish.

Next, your Wasabi Backup Repository is added to your NAKIVO Backup and Replication v10 and can be used in your Backup/Replication jobs.

  • Physical Machine Recovery to VMware VM

Recover physical machines from backups to VMware VMs or perform physical to virtual migrations. A full P2V recovery creates virtual copies of physical machines ready for production environments.

As I have already stated before regarding this feature from NAKIVO, is very useful and is a great feature for all administrators that want to P2V their physical environment.

Not only for P2V but for a fast recovery from a faulty or lost physical server. We can quickly restore as a VM and start the server (only need to do some minor changes on the VM for network and adapt as a Virtual Server and not Physical).

This is a very useful feature.

  • User Interface Enhancement (Facelift)

In NAKIVO Backup and Replication v10, NAKIVO made a great job with the new GUI design. Easier to use, more intuitive and options and features more accessible.

Creating Backup/Replication jobs, or just adding Hypervisor or Repository to Inventory is easy as it was, but now with a new design and screens that are easy to read and smoothly.

Check HERE more screens of the new NAKIVO Backup and Replication v10 design.

  • Linux Workstation Backup

Perform app-aware, incremental backups of Linux workstations running Ubuntu 18.04 Desktop and 20.04 Desktop. Quickly recover entire workstations or restore individual files and objects directly from backups.

Improvements

  • Application permissions for Microsoft 365 accounts have been updated. Make sure you make the necessary changes to prevent backup and recovery jobs from failure. Refer to Obtaining Microsoft 365 credentials (item 10) for details.
  • CentOS v7.0-7.6 support
  • Linux workstation support
