Nakivo Backup & Replication v7 will now supports Hyper-V

Nakivo Backup & Replication virtual backup software now supports Hyper-V in v7. New version is still in beta, but now customers that use Nakivo can also backup their Windows Virtual infrastructure with Nakivo. Also new customers.

What is Nakivo? Nakivo is a new company(only 4 years old), and a VMware Elite member of the VMware Technology Alliance Partner program.

Until now Nakivo only focus their product in VMware, but now they have added Hyper-V to their portfolio.

“Hyper-V Replication

NAKIVO Backup & Replication v7 can create and maintain identical copies of Hyper-V VMs on a target server. The copies (called VM replicas) remain in the powered off state and do not consume any resources, yet you can power them on at any moment for near-instant disaster recovery. Just as Hyper-V backups, the replicas are image-based, application-aware, and forever-incremental.”

More information about Nakivo, or the new Beta version, can be found HERE in Nakivo website.

Here is a video regarding the new feature.

Nakivo is one of the products that I am testing at this moment in my Lab. After my tests I will write some articles and reviews about this product.
